Background

I'm a 30 year old wife and mother living in Knoxville, TN.

I'm a certified K-12 special educator, &

I've taught elementary special education in Knoxville for going on 6 years.

I have taught in more urban/inner city areas and in suburban/affluent areas.

I've taught kiddos who required minimal services (similar to what's sometimes known as a 'Resource' setting) and those who require more comprehensive services.

I have extensive experience working with kiddos of varying disabilities, especially those who require additional behavioral services- often due to unsafe/aggressive behaviors. 

I am über familiar with initiatives and practices such as PBIS and Restorative Practices.

I'm in grad school for getting my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis.
